About Us

ArthroCare products have been sold in Australia for many years and during this time have gained a market leading reputation for innovative surgical products and cutting edge technology, particularly as the originators of (radio frequency) RF Coblation and Multi-Electrode Technology^TM. In 2006 ArthroCare (Australasia) Pty Ltd became a wholly-owned subsidiary of ArthroCare Corporation; thereby bringing increased focus towards the marketing and distribution of all ArthroCare products, including ArthroCare Sports Medicine, ArthroCare ENT, and ArthroCare Spine.

Founded in 1993, ArthroCare Corporation is a medical device company that develops, manufactures and markets minimally invasive surgical products that improve existing surgical procedures.  The majority of these products utilized Coblation® technology, which has been used in millions of sports medicine, spine, and ENT surgeries worldwide to gently and precisely dissolve soft tissue.  ArthroCare’s patented Coblation technology is used in conjunction with a wide offering of complementary surgical devices and aims to improve patient outcomes.  ArthroCare also offers a number of additional novel technologies in its product portfolio to complement Coblation products within key indications.
